So they tell me that the Olympics are over. We have a TV, but it works only as a DVD-watching device, since we don't have an antenna ("aerial" for you South Africans) or a satellite dish. Therefore, for more than two years, I haven't watched a television broadcast in my home. That's pretty sad for a boy who was so in love with his Tivo. We didn't see a single race, match, game, meet, or event during these Olympics. I'm sure that's never happened before in my life, but I can't say I feel like I missed anything. I guess I'm getting used to it?

We have most of it recorded. If there is an event you would like to see, let me know and I'd be happy to burn it to DVD and send it to you. Swimming was a big event for the US, as I'm sure you've heard or read. I haven't watched much of it yet, been too busy, but now that it's over, I'm going to start sifting through the days of recording's to separate out what interests me. It won't be much extra work to make a disc for you, so just let me know.
